Milkie

Please
excuse the poor quality of these photos...the video footage they came from
was taken many years ago, and Milkie was over 20 years old.

Milkie
was the first known palomino
thoroughbred registered with the
Jockey Club. He is considered the founding father of most of the
palomino and buckskin thoroughbreds in the world today. He is
the sire of several palomino stallions including Gold Apollo (the
famous show hunter) and Milkie's Desire (a full brother to our
Desire for Gold), sire of many "A" show hunter champions. Milkie
was known for his prepotence in passing on extremely good movement as well
as the desirable palomino color. Linebred to Rodgers.

This
great genetic pool comes from such great sires as Princequillo, who's name
is found in the pedigrees of many winning hunters and jumpers throughout
the U.S. and Canada, such as, Cool

Another
predominantly strong sport horse influence is Blenheim

Jumpers which have Blenheim II in their pedigree to name. For example,
Jumpers-Rome Dome member of the U.S. Olympic Team, Sloopy member of U.S.
